About Dr Padayachee

Dr Sumesh Padayachee, affectionately known as Dr Sumi, is a Specialist Urologist practicing at the Netcare Rosebank Hospital in Johannesburg.

Dr Sumi aims to provide thorough and personalized care for the wide range of urological conditions using evidence-based technologies and techniques to ensure optimal and successful outcomes for his patients.

Hailing originally from Kwazulu-Natal, he completed his undergraduate medical degree at the University of the Witwatersrand (Wits) in 2011. He completed his Internship at the Chris Hani Baragwanath Academic Hospital, followed by his community service at the Charlotte Maxeke Johannesburg Academic Hospital. The wealth of experiences and interpersonal patient interactions accruing from these engagements, served as the foundation for him to begin his specialization in Urology at his Alma Mater Wits.
